Sometimes my voice mail indicator doesn’t clear from the display of my phone but I have no new messages. How can I make it go away?
The message indicator on your phone can usually be cleared by accessing the “messages” option on your phone and selecting the ‘clear message count’ option. If your phone does not have this option, you can leave yourself a voicemail and then listen to it from your cell phone; this shows your phone that you have listened to your “new message”.

How do I access my voice mail while roaming?
Option A: From a land line, first dial either 209-770-6600 or your own cellular number and press send. If you dialed 209-770-6600, the system will prompt you to enter your cellular number, (enter only 7 digits here, no area code), followed by the star key. Then you will be prompted to enter your password, followed by the star key. If you dialed your own cellular number, you will hear your greeting message. Interrupt your message by pressing the star key, then you will be prompted to enter your password, followed by the star key. NOTE: If you do not know your password, you may change it while in the home area by pressing *86 then send, when you hear the first prompt dial 3, 4, 4, and then you will be prompted to enter your new password followed by the star key.

Option B: From your cellular phone, dial *86, listen for your greeting message and then interrupt your message with the star key, you will be prompted to enter your password, followed by the star key.

Mobile to mobile and night & weekend are home area only features. You will be using your allotted “anywhere” minutes or billed at the roaming rate for the plan you are on for any minutes used out of the home area.
